It is the intent of Washington State to promote open competition and transparency for all contracts for goods and services. All businesses, independent contractors and other organizations are encouraged to compete for contractual opportunities with the Workfore Board.

Bid opportunities

The Workforce Board advertises bid opportunities on Washington’s Electronic Business Solution (WEBS), the state’s procurement announcement system. Information on WEBS is available at the Department of Enterprise Services.

Sole Source Contracts

Healthcare Workers Education and Professional Development Support Services 

The Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board contemplates awarding a sole source contract to Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Healthcare 1199NW to provide services to workers in the health care field who are pursuing job advancement and enhancement through apprenticeships, classroom training, hands-on learning and other professional development opportunities in a wide range of health care occupations.
